CES manages a Student Research Program, which provides support
for graduate students interested in conducting their thesis research
on a component of the Kissimmee River Restoration
project. CES' works with SFWMD's Kissimmee River Restoration's Chief
Scientist and each student's graduate advisor to define a thesis
project that complements the student's and SFWMD's research objectives.
CES and SFWMD scientists act as the student's field advisors, and
provide logistic and field support for the student's research project.
If you are interested in conducting research within the Kissimmee River Floodplain region, or would like more information about the Student Research Program, contact Loisa Kerwin.
